Europe Day is observed on 9th May. The date commemorates the anniversary of the ‘Schuman declaration’ in 1950, which proposed the creation of a European Coal and Steel Community, the forerunner to the European Union.
Erasmus+ project “Game of schools” teams (Italy-Turkey-Lithuania) met to mark Europe Day.
The project partners discussed how to celebrate the upcoming Europe Day in an interesting and meaningful way and, of course, planned other project activities and meetings.
Easter is a celebration of the spring joy, the awakening of nature. On that occasion, the participants of the international project Erasmus+ âGame of schoolsâ, students from Italy, Turkey and Lithuania decided to meet in the ZOOM environment to share their traditions, traditional dishes of these holidays, to teach some words typical about these holidays in their own language. Representatives from Turkey told us about Ramadan (Ramzan) because Easter is not celebrated there. We are excited to learn more about new cultures.
